Blu comes from Bologna, Italy, and starting from 2000 he has painted walls in Italy, Spain, Germany, England, Argentina, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Mexico, Guatemala and Brazil. “ A fundamental element of Blu’s work is the direct contact with the walls of the city. With only the use of paint and brushes, Blu, through distinct, raw and concise strokes, he creates parallel figuratives worlds in which strange characters with one face infinetely repeated, transform into another story, another thought, another contemplation about the reality which they, and we, experience and endure. That is what these aliens and alienated beings are: the perfect testimonial pretext, reflecting like a mirror, the reality of those who, astonished yet fashinated, can identify with them”.(text Fabiola Naldi).
Blu has exhibit his art all over the world, and in 2008, at Tate Modern of London at the Street Art exhibition.
Blu è nato nelle Marche, viene da Bologna e dal 2000 ha dipinto i muri di Italia, Spagna, Germania, Inghilterra, Argentina, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Messico, Guatemala e Brasile. "Un elemento fondamentale del lavoro di Blu è il diretto contatto con i muri delle città. Con il solo uso di pennelli e vernice Blu crea mondi figurativi paralleli dove strani personaggi con lo stesso viso ripetuto all’infinito, trasformano la loro realtà in una nuova storia, in un nuovo pensiero o contemplazione. Questi esseri alieni e alienati sono il perfetto pretesto che testimonia, riflettendo come uno specchio, la realtà di quelli che, affascinati e stupefatti, si immedesimano in loro".

Blu espone la sua arte sui muri di tutto il mondo. Nel 2008 ha esposto alla Tate Modern di Londra all’interno della Street Art exhibition.
